This is how to draw a cat in 10 steps.
Step 1 start with the head:
Begin by drawing a circle for the cat's head.
You can use light, loose strokes.
Step 2 add the ears:
On top of the head, draw two pointy, triangular ears.
They can be slightly curved at the tips for a more
natural look.
Step 3 sketch the eyes:
In the head, draw two large almond-shaped eyes.
Step 4 draw the nose:
Below the eyes, add a small triangular shape for
its nose.
Step 5 mouth and whiskers:
Draw a curved line below the nose for a mouth. Add
some small lines on each side of the face for whiskers.
Step 6 create the body:
From the bottom of the head, draw two lines on the right
and left bottom part of the head and draw a curved oval
connecting them for the body. Make it as long as you want
the body to be.
Step 7 sketch the legs:
Draw four small, slightly curved lines extending down From
the body to represent legs. Add small oval shapes at the
ends for paws.
Step 8 tail:
Extend a long curve from the back of the body for a tail. You
can make it straight or add a gentle curve.
Step 9 fur details:
To gve your cat a furry look, add short lines throughout the
body and tail. These lines make fur texture. Be creative with
the direction and density of the lines.
Step 10 outline:
Once you're satisfied with your cat, you can go over the
pencil with a fine-tip marker or pen. After the ink dries,
erase all the pencil lines.
